Workers Comp
Accidents happen, even while at your '8 to 5.'
Your job is a great part of your livelihood. When an injury occurs while on the job, it's important to take proper steps and get an honest assessment of your rights to help preserve the relationship with your employer.
If you're injured on the job, the team at RGG Law can represent you and determine your eligibility for workers' compensation benefits. Additionally, if an injury prevents you from working, you may be eligible for Social Security Disability benefits. Other possible entitlements include:
- Payment for reasonable and necessary medical treatment
- Payment for time missed from work
- Payment for any permanent disability
- Possible future medical care and costs
Under workers' compensation laws, you must report your injury in writing to your employer as soon as possible or it may be denied. After you report your injury, your employer should complete an Incident or Accident Report and submit it to the Division of Workers' Compensation for the State of Missouri.
If you are having difficulties obtaining medical treatment or feel you are not being treated fairly by the workers' compensation carrier, please contact the RGG Law team to schedule your free consultation.
